Good Tunes, Greater Purpose
Calling all music lovers, veterans, families, and patriots — join us for a special evening that blends great music with a powerful mission: bringing our nation's missing heroes home.
The Wisconsin MIA Foundation hosts this fundraiser on Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 6:00 to 10:00 PM at Smoke on the Water in Okauchee. The date coincides with National POW/MIA Recognition Day, making it an especially meaningful time to gather and give back.
Every ticket sold moves us one step closer to bringing a missing hero home.
The Evening
Guests enjoy a hearty buffet crafted by Chef Raina and her team, followed by a rare hometown performance from Wisconsin native and Nashville singer-songwriter Taylor Davis.
Nashville's Taylor Davis
Taylor Davis is a Wisconsin native and Nashville recording artist returning home for this one-night benefit performance. He wrote "The Song For Those Who Never Made It Home" for the UW Missing in Action Recovery and Identification Project — a piece written specifically for the families still waiting.
Where Your Ticket Goes
The Wisconsin MIA Foundation accelerates recovery and identification work by providing the University of Wisconsin Missing in Action Recovery and Identification Project with private funding for additional recovery missions.
Event proceeds directly fund UW–MIA field missions, research, and recovery operations — helping bring answers and closure to families who are still waiting.
